The app to the left converts between time and seconds, easy enough to work out on a calculator, but time consuming. Using this app saved the customer 5 minutes each time he used it. COMMAND LINE

It may be low tech, but sometimes a command line app can be exactly what you need. Here at Philtronix we started out writing DOS programs in the 1980’s, way before Windows became popular. Since then we have moved into Linux command line apps, mostly for headless (no graphics card) servers.

RS232 / RS485

DO YOU NEED TO CONNECT TO OLD OR NEW SERIAL EQUIPMENT ?

It may be old technology, but a lot of industrial equipment still uses RS232 or RS485 serial to communicate with the outside world. We have interfaced to LED signs, TFT signs, Text to Speech converters, traffic lights, robotics etc the list goes on.
